Kinsser AI Pro ("we", "our", or "us") is a Chrome extension that helps home health nurses automate charting in WellSky Kinsser. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide our service:

• Email address — used to create and manage your account
• Password — stored securely using bcrypt hashing (we never store plain text passwords)
• Subscription status — to verify your active subscription via Stripe
• Usage timestamps — when you last used the extension

Patient Data

We do not store any patient data. Patient notes you paste into the extension are sent to our AI service for processing and are not retained on our servers. No protected health information (PHI) is stored by Kinsser AI Pro.

Payment Information

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or banking information on our servers.

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your account and verify your subscription
• To process payments through Stripe
• To provide the charting automation service

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• Stripe — for payment processing
• Anthropic — for AI text processing (patient notes only, not stored)

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and secure token-based authentication.
